Havana, Dec 12.- Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, Cuba's Minister of Foreign Affairs, condemned today the new unilateral coercive measures by the United States government against Venezuela.
On the social network X, the foreign minister stated that the sanctions seek to increase pressure and escalation in aggression against that Latin American and Caribbean nation.
Rodríguez Parrilla's message also expresses Cuba's "total and unwavering solidarity" and support for the Bolivarian and Chavista Revolution and its president, Nicolás Maduro.
On Thursday, Washington announced sanctions against six shipping companies that allegedly transport Venezuelan crude oil; just one day after U.S. troops seized an oil tanker from the South American nation.
The coercive measures by the U.S. Department of the Treasury also included relatives of President Maduro's wife and a Panamanian businessman, allegedly associated with the Caracas government. (Source: ACN)
