Camagüey, Sep 2.- The Ignacio Agramonte Loynaz University of Camagüey (UC) will continue the 2023 school year this Monday, September 4, an opportunity in which all the majors will begin the second period.
Alicia Rodríguez Gregorich, Ph.D., Vice Chancellor of the UC, explained that more than 12,000 students will return to their desks in all types of study at the three central campuses and the 12 Municipal University Centers.
A number of more than 200 classrooms in the house of higher studies, including specialized ones, plus others from teaching units and institutions of various levels of education for Courses by Meetings, were enabled during the last days.
She highlighted the guarantee of teaching coverage, with 1,158 full-time professors and 1,100 part-time professors, with a high scientific level that enables the quality of training of future professionals in all majors and specialties.
Regarding logistics, she explained that they have food supplies, cleaning and personal hygene materials, as well as pencils and the study material base in different formats, and with respect to university notebooks, he explained that they will arrive in the current month of September.
Young people from all 13 municipalities and various territories, especially from the East of the country and from Ciego de Ávila, study at the institution in Camagüey, for which a transportation plan was designed with the support of the Provincial Government of People's Power and the Company of Transportation in Camagüey for the reincorporation to the classrooms.
