Camagüey, Oct. 15.- Members of the Camagüey branch of the José Martí Cultural Society agreed to further extend knowledge of the legacy of the National Hero in the various spheres of society.
This was revealed during a meeting with directors of that institution in the country and of the Martí’s Youth Movement, in which compliance with the objectives and agreements of the organic process of the Cultural Society was evaluated.
The report presented by Marisela Valido, head of that association in the Camagüey territory, updated the membership; the Martí day and the precursors of decolonization, and the strategy to promote Martí gardens, forests and orchards.
For his part Víctor Hernández, national vice president of the José Martí Cultural Society, stressed the importance of the Martiano Youth Movement as a natural quarry for the entry of new members into the organization. (Radio Clock) (Photo: ACN/File)
