Rolando and Aramis artists of Camagüey’s cuisine

Camagüey, Oct 20.- The chefs from Camagüey Rolando Carmenate Basulto and Aramis Valero Agüero are united by a friendship of many years and a passion for Cuban cuisine, which they proudly defend from the Culinary Association of the province.

With great experience in the profession, they speak of improvement, aesthetic taste, hygiene, innovation and creativity, issues that must prevail in a work that requires a lot of love and dedication every single day.

Carmantes Basulto, vice president of the aforementioned association, highlighted that it is necessary to maintain the preparation of typical and traditional dishes, rescue good practices in the facilities and provide good service.

He also recognized the courses taught by the international chef Gregorio Hidalgo Vera and the meetings with autistic children from the Héroes del Moncada Special School in the capital of Camagüey.

It is not surprising that parents and teachers of that educational institution ensure that dreams and illusions are cooked in these exchanges and that they then show the taste of happiness, he added.

On the other hand, professor and advisor Aramis Valero Agüero, who works as a chef at the Excalibur restaurant in the private sector, commented that they carry out hygiene, first-level courses, lunch courses, among others, in order to achieve professional improvement.

Immersed in the Food Sovereignty and Nutritional Education Program, there are many challenges for men like Aramis and Rolando, culinary artists who today celebrate International Chef's Day with the firm commitment to providing flavors and colors to the people of Camagüey.
