Havana, Oct 31.- Cuba and Russia discussed the strengthening of the strategic partnership between the two nations in the political, commercial, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
This was reported by the Russian Foreign Ministry on its X social network account after a meeting between Cuban Deputy Prime Minister Ricardo Cabrisas, head of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, and Sergei Ryabkov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia.
The text indicates that the representatives of both countries exchanged opinions on current issues on the international agenda and reiterated the firm position they share regarding the unacceptable nature of applying unilateral sanctions that violate the Charter of the United Nations, as well as the generally recognized principles and norms of international law.
In this context, the Russian side expressed its firm support to Havana on the need to immediately end the illegal economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States against Cuba. (ACN) (Photo taken from the Internet)
