Camagüey, Dec. 3.- The celebration of the municipal assembly of the National Association of Economists and Accountants (Anec) in Camagüey, constitutes a pivot in the strengthening of the internal life of the organization as part of the preparations for the ninth congress, designated June 12 to 14, 2024 in Havana.
Until Thursday, the meetings corresponding to the municipalities of Najasa, Sierra de Cubitas, Vertientes and Nuevitas had yet to be held, and in a general sense, they have promoted the interest in favoring the changes that the country requires in the economic field, the Doctor in Sciences Inés Josefina Torres Mora, president of the Anec territory told Adelante.
The municipality of Camagüey concentrates 84 grassroots associations with 1,233 members, of them 818 professionals in the economic sciences and the rest graduates from higher education in other specialties and 175 graduates as mid-level technicians.
The strengthening of grassroots organizations in this last stage was aimed at increasing membership and the creation of grassroots sections, fundamentally with new economic actors.
In terms of improvement, they offered refresher courses to these entities, collection agents and local development projects, without neglecting the strengthening of the Socialist State Enterprise.
It did not escape the Anec professional development center as training contracts on internal control, English, cost, analysis, interpretation of financial statements and general accounting to entities such as the Provincial Delegation of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment, Biotechnology, Office of the Historian and the Chamber of Commerce in the territory.
The assembly on the internal functioning on board: rescue membership through new forms and spaces of professional exchange that motivate different interest groups, with emphasis on the combination of young and experienced professionals, always motivating participation; ethical values ??and respect for the profession and, based on their experiences, make appropriate proposals to update the standards that today do not respond to continuous structural changes.
