Camagüey, December 5.- The Construction and Assembly Company No. 2 of Camagüey celebrates Builder's Day with important social works and investments in the province and in other territories of the country.
Under the principle that work dignifies man, Camagüey workers strive to fulfill with quality and efficiency the tasks assigned to them, inspired by the legacy of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro.
This was expressed by Alexis Bejerano, director of the State Basic Unit of Construction Company number two, who highlighted among the entity's achievements the completion of several homes for its workers and the construction of a house for a child with disabilities in the Monte Carlos neighborhood.
He also mentioned other investments that are being carried out in the main municipality such as the repair of schools, hospitals and recreational centers.
Bejerano also highlighted the solidarity of several brigades that have supported works of economic and social interest in other provinces.
We are faithful to the example of Fidel, our oldest father who taught us to share what we have and not what we have left over, he stated.
Among the workers who stand out for their dedication and professionalism is Arístides Rosales Rodríguez, who recently retired and decided to return to his position.
Rosales Rodríguez has been a National Vanguard for ten consecutive years and is proud to transmit his knowledge and experiences to new generations.
One of the young people who has learned from Aristides is Dariel Oscar Fonte, a 23-year-old construction assistant who expressed his satisfaction at being part of the union.
As part of the activities for the anniversary, the Construction and Assembly Company No. 2 of Camagüey will present the Armando Mestre Martínez Medal to eight workers who have dedicated between 20 and 25 years to construction.
The event will take place at the Social Obrero Guamá, located in the capital of Camagüey and during this event tribute will be paid to the most outstanding groups and workers of the year, recognizing their dedication and effort. (Text and photos: María Castañeda Varona/Radio Cadena Agramonte)
