Caracas, February 11.- Cuban collaborators in the Venezuelan State of Apure have earned the respect and affection of that people, whose fundamental economic activity is agricultural production.
Doctor Arlén Lajes Batista, Head of Social Missions in the State, said that the territory has for health care with 11 comprehensive diagnostic centers, rehabilitation rooms, a high-tech Center, popular opticians and dental points.
In that region bordering Colombia, which inspired Rómulo Gallegos for his novel Doña Bárbara, Cuban and Venezuelan specialists care for the population, whose most common diseases are High Blood Pressure, and typical diseases of livestock areas such as Brucellosis.
