Havana, February 12.- The III Patria International Colloquium on digital communication invites groups or individual creators who develop services or applications related to digital communication in Cuba to participate in the event sessions.
Organized by the Union of Journalists of Cuba, Patria will take place from March 18 to 20, 2024, at the PABEXPO fairgrounds in Havana.
To attend as an exhibitor you only need to live in Cuba and register an experience related to:
• Generation of digital content and journalism
• Communication strategies
• Graphic design
• Graphic humour
• Virtual reality or augmented reality applications
• Computer Applications that facilitate communication
• Video game
• Active community communication projects
• Audiovisual shows that mix art, communication and politics.

To register a project, the following information must be sent:
A jury will select 30 national projects that will be presented along with an equal number of international ones in one of the Colloquium's exhibition rooms.
Proposals are accepted from all over the country. Those selected by the jury who cannot attend “Patria” in person may present virtually or send a video, according to the rules of the event.
The III Patria International Colloquium will bring together communicators, journalists, digital creators, designers and artists to exchange for three days in Havana on Artificial Intelligence and the legal, economic, narrative and activism challenges in the networks of the Global South.
It will present new developments in the digital field and will promote articulation and co-productions that involve communicators and experts from the different disciplines that impact social communication today. (Text and photo: Cubaperiodistas)
