Havana, February 23.- In the context of the 32nd Havana International Book Fair, the XV Prize of the The Dinosaur Short Story Contest was awarded to the work Perfectionist, by Israel Domínguez.
The award was presented in the Nicolás Guillén room of the San Carlos de la Cabaña fortress, and in the jury's report the merit was highlighted for the high degree of conciseness and connotation, achieved within extreme brevity and economy of language, as well as due to the semantic ambiguity and the interpretive possibilities that the text offers.
It was also agreed to unanimously award mentions to the work Vibrato, presented under the pseudonym Milha de las Flores, by Carla Flores; Little Hans, under the pseudonym Hans, by the author Ana Dalia Junco; to the work If no one comes to say goodbye to you, by pseudonym JM, author Noel Pérez.
Also to Insomnios 4 AM, under the pseudonym Nurmi, written by Luis Pérez de Castro.
This The Dinosaur Ministories contest is organized by the Onelio Jorge Cardoso Literary Training Center, located in this capital.
The writers Alberto Marrero, Susana Haug and Rafael de Águila were part of the jury in this edition, and the award ceremony was directed by the writer Dazra Novak. (Text and photo: PL)
