Contingents of educators as flag bearers at the University of Camagüey (+ Photos)


Camagüey, March 2.- As part of the support for the Educating for Love task, the University of Camagüey Ignacio Agramonte Loynaz, carried out the flag-bearing of the Leones Relys and Frank País contingents.

Both projects are part of the alternatives taken between the members of the Secretariat of the Federation of University Students and the board of directors of the Camagüey higher education institution, to make up for the shortage of teachers in the territory.

On behalf of the Leonela Relys contingent, the fourth-year student of the Journalism major, Elia Rosa Yera Zayas Bazán, received the flag, while on behalf of Frank País, it was presented to student Erik Muñoz Mejía.

Likewise, during the meeting, the work of the Student Assistant Movement was recognized, as well as the students who obtained the relevant category in the Class Festival, in addition to the merit of the achievements of the Directorate of Teaching and Research in the University Student Federation (FEU).

The event was attended by Doctor of Science Alicia Rodríguez Gregorich, vice-rector of training, Laura Mariam Bacallao, Deputy to the National Assembly of People's Power and secretary of the Committee of the Union of Young Communists, and Gabriela Prince Pérez, president of the FEU in the teaching center.
