Anabel and Ana: examples of dedication at Cuban Post Office (+ Photos)

Camagüey, March 2.- Camagüey natives Anabel Martínez Viñales and Ana Iris Pérez Rodríguez with more than two decades of experience in Correos de Cuba are protagonists of the history of this entity in the province.

They have held different positions and functions in postal services, from the most traditional to the most modern.

Both agree that they are passionate about their work and that they feel proud to belong to a company that has been able to adapt to technological and social changes.

Martínez Viñales, current director of operations, began her career as a teletype operator in 1989, when money orders and telegrams were sent by that means.

Pérez Rodríguez, director of control and inspection, joined as manager after a training course.

Both have received recognition for their work, including the Mario Muñoz Monrroy distinction, which is awarded to outstanding workers in the communications sector.

Their performance is based on control, supervision and they value the benefits of computerization, which facilitates speed, efficiency and quality of services.

But they not only live for work, they also have the support and love of their families, which are the driving force that drives them to move forward.

They are an example of women from Camagüey who dedicate themselves with dedication and commitment to their work at the Cuban Post Office. (Text and photos: Gladys Dailyn Morera Cordero/Radio Cadena Agramonte)
