Camagüey, March 8.- In a context marked by the complex energy situation, the scarcity of material resources, the difficulties in technological transportation and mining equipment, workers in the Energy and Mines sector in Camagüey strive to meet the proposed indicators for the year 2024.
Among the objectives of this stage are the transformation of the province's energy matrix, the incorporation of new investments related to the increase in renewable sources and progress in the public lighting program of the main avenues and arteries.
In this purpose, it is vital to pay attention to human resources, including members of the non-state sector, who currently work uninterrupted hours due to the demands of the current moment.
In this context, Lyan Alonso Alfonso, Provincial Secretary of the Energy and Mines Union, pointed out that it is crucial to carry out a critical analysis of the main difficulties, evaluate the union's functioning and recognize the commitment of the professionals of the Geomining, Electrical, the Fuel Marketer and Geominsal.
He added that the motivations that recently allowed us to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Energy and Mines Workers Union are decisive in this process of work and improvement.
At the meeting, Yamiris Marrero, secretary of the Geominera Camagüey Union Bureau, conveyed the commitment of the entity's members to fulfill the main social tasks, especially the export of gold and chrome, items that contribute to the advancement of the economy of the country.
