Camagüey, March 26.- The conference Strategic management accounting for sustainable development, by doctor of sciences Dayanis Socarrás Viamontes, will begin today the First International Event The Woman Economist and Accountant, which will take place until March 28 in Camagüey
According to the program provided to the press by doctor of science Inés Josefina Torres Mora, president of the National Association of Economists and Accountants of Cuba in the host province, the meeting will have ten panels that will address issues related to accounting and auditing, tourism management and the digital transformation associated with the financial field.
Business finances, the importance of taxation, the involvement of women in the economic transformations of rural areas, the role of students and young people in terms of economic development and entrepreneurship of women and their participation in local development, They also constitute topics that will be explored in depth.
More than 70 investigations and presentations will be shared in the exchange, among them those that will address the challenges of micro, small and medium-sized businesses in Cuba; local development projects in the legal system and their impact on the economy; and the China-Camagüey Industrial Park and its impact on the local economy.
The First International Event The Woman Economist and Accountant had twenty national editions as a precedent and in 2024 foreign participation was achieved from countries such as Mexico, Canada and Peru, which joined the attendees from several Cuban provinces.
