Havana, March 30.- The University Student Federation (FEU) has high expectations for the XII Congress of the Union of Young Communists (UJC), which will be held from April 2 to 4, during which Cuban student youth aims to intervene through a fresh and updated dialogue.
José Alberto Almeida Cabrales, president of the FEU at the University of Havana, expressed that the organization considers the event as an important space to promote aspects of the reality that students face and address issues such as permanence in the university, employment student and others.
In this congress the Federation hopes that it will be a goal to achieve an improvement with respect to the UJC-FEU working relationship with the increase of spaces dedicated to debate on the positions, strategies and projections of each organization, which may have similarity and facilitate the realization of political-revolutionary work in keeping with the times we live in.
It will be proposed to increase the relationship between the different movements of the organization such as the Martian brigades, the FEEM and the FEU, since the objective of all of them, beyond the responsibility of political leadership, is to bring together the efforts of the young generation to join forces and achieve the proposed goals.
