Cuban resident in Chile asks the United States to leave his country alone

Santiago de Chile, Apr. 1st. - The vice president of the Cultural Association of Cubans Resident in Chile, Juan Márquez, today repudiated the interventionist policy carried out by the United States government against his country.

I call for the necessary unity against all types of interference from a foreign government so that, once and for all, they let Cuba live in peace, Márquez expressed in a video published on his X account.

The young leader of the Raíces Cubanas group also repudiated those who for different reasons ask to maintain or intensify the suffocation measures that affect the island's economy in all areas.

He denounced that unilateral coercive policies harm the population in general, especially the most vulnerable.

Raíces Cubanas joined the day of mobilizations carried out in various parts of the world in support of Cuba's fight against the blockade maintained by the United States for more than 60 years. (Text and photo: PL)
