Camagüey, April 4.- The Eduardo Agramonte Piña Pediatric Hospital of Camagüey celebrated this Thursday the 62nd anniversary of the founding of the Union of Young Communists (UJC) and the 63rd of the José Martí Pioneers Organization (OPJM), with a cultural activity very colorful that multiplied the happy faces of the little ones and their families on such a significant date for Cuban children, adolescents and young people.

Every year we feel happy to offer this moment to the children, together with the UJC, which was joined on this occasion by the Health Workers Union, the Cuban Workers' Central, as well as the Houses of Culture and the district delegate, explained Marlene Oñoz Perdomo, in charge of health promotion at the healthcare center.

We enjoyed a beautiful show in which the clown Tin Guido and the Liz Lianet Dance group performed, all as a result of intersectoral work that favors the initiatives organized by the health institution.”

We are very happy to celebrate another year of the youngest quarries of the Cuban Revolution, Oñoz Perdomo stressed.

Yarisleidis Rodríguez González, a 9-year-old patient in room 17, told Radio Cadena Agramonte that they felt very good as they enjoyed poetry, riddles and the clown's performance that made them laugh.

The Union of Young Communists has an indisputable presence in the Pediatric Hospital of Camagüey where, like every April 4, the anniversaries of that organization and the OPJM are commemorated, which is an example of the institutional care that boys, girls, adolescents and young people.

All of this action is endorsed in the Policy on Children, Adolescents and Youth, approved a year ago in the nation and widely debated at the XII Congress of the UJC that met in Havana during the 3rd and 4th of the current month.

In this context, in the province of Camagüey, several cultural and gala actions were carried out that extended to the two homes for children without family protection in the capital of Camagüey, to the Comprehensive Training School and other institutions that welcome minors and adolescents.
