Camagüey, Dec. 26.- Workers in the Commerce sector in Camagüey are getting ready to offer their services with the commitment and discipline that characterize the festivities of the population, on the eve of a new year and the triumph of the Cuban Revolution.
Odelaine Hernández, director of the Municipal Company of Restaurants and Recreation Centers, reported that fairs will be held in the communities, as well as attention to hospitals with prepared meals at affordable prices and the sale of high-demand products.
Hernández highlighted the variety of options available in restaurants and recreation centers, which will operate every day at their usual hours and will accept reservations during the festivities. However, customers who arrive without a reservation will be served, as long as there is availability, offering excellent offers.
Among the establishments that stand out are La Volanta, El 1514, La Paella, La Perla de Cuba, Rancho Luna and El Corderito, most of which will offer service in the patios and buffet tables, as well as a quality service with a variety of around twenty main dishes, accompanied by rice, vegetables and salads.
During these days, pork is guaranteed as the main option for Camagüey’s people along with congrí. In addition, various liquid and solid options will be organized in the province's cafeterias and the 62 alternative food points in the main city will remain operational.
The director also highlighted the food guarantee of the Family Care System (SAF, by its acronym in Spanish) that will offer dinners on December 31 and January 1, 2025. This program covers 105 SAF and benefits more than seven thousand people throughout the province, who will be able to enjoy additional options in collaboration with the Culture and Inder sectors.
Likewise, the 12 restaurants that will participate together with the retail units, Universal and other entities in the provincial fair scheduled for Monday, December 30 on La Libertad Avenue in the city of Camagüey are being organized.
On the other hand, the workers of the more than nine hundred grocery stores in the region will be operational during the holidays, selling the standard family basket. This includes the sale of rice corresponding to the month of November, as well as two units of sugar, oil, four packs of cigarettes and other products according to the availability of inventory in each territory and the arrivals to the province, which has more than 669 thousand consumers.
As every year, workers in the Domestic Trade system in Camagüey strive to ensure the distribution and marketing of products for the enjoyment of the population. However, it is essential to continue improving services and increasing control to avoid irregularities that could tarnish the efforts of the men and women in the sector throughout the year.
