He also stressed that this year has been decisive in the construction progress because despite the shortages, mainly of fuel and the complex national electro-energy situation, the work did not stop.

Regarding the dock, the non-technological civil work with prefabrication was completed, the director added.
The civil work of the structural and electrical assembly should be finished next semester, the slides will be completed in the months of January and February, and the slab that will support the ship loader will be cast.
On the other hand, García Arce specified that when production begins at the factory, they will need to be linked to the Port-Transport chain, in the case of railways and roads to transport cement to the provinces from Ciego de Ávila to Holguín, and the port for exports.
Previously, the 26 de Julio Cement Factory had three production lines and obtained 600 thousand tons of clinker per year. After the modernization in a single line -with world-class technology- with those 600 thousand, more than 700 thousand tons of cement will be made per year, in addition to those made with additives.
The useful life of a plant of this type is conceived for at least 50 calendars, so as the investment progresses, courses are given for the training and formation of operators, an opportunity to acquire the knowledge that will contribute to the contribution to the Cuban economy from this city of Agramonte.
