Swift rice discharge in Nuevitas’s Port for basic-supply rationing


Camaguey, Mar 5th. - In the Port of Nuevitas, in the northeast of this city, they speed up the unloading of a ship loaded with rice, from Santiago de Cuba, for the distribution of the food that corresponds to the basic-supply rationing and the social consumption of the provinces of Ciego de Ávila, Las Tunas and Camagüey.

To this end, the cargo moves directly, from the dock to the trucks and, in addition, they maintain the storage process, which facilitates the protection of the product for transfer to the different territories.

According to information published on the website of Radio Nuevitas, 180 tons of the grain will be extracted for the provincial headboard until reaching the 1,260 that will cover the completion of December and the beginning of January, of the regulated family basket and social consumption.

Jorge Enrique Sutil Sarabia, governor of Camagüey, appreciated in the coastal enclave how they ensure the good development of the port operation, and inquired about the quality of the food, the extraction process, the transport and the protection of the electrical circuit of that area of the industrial city, vital in the guarantee of the stability of the work.

Next weekend he must dock another ship, coming from Santiago de Cuba, with the completion of the defendant grain for the month of January, according to Rodney Roque Roque Rodríguez, director of the Port of Nuevitas.
