Camagüey, Mar 6th. - The Union of Young Communists (UJC) develops its program of activities to commemorate the 63th anniversary of its creation, and the 64 of the José Martí Pioneer Organization (OPJM) on April 4.
The provincial act by the event will take place in the municipality of Najasa, in recognition of the positive results in the organization's work, while the territories of Céspedes, Guáimaro and Camagüey will reach date with the status of prominent.
As part of the Herderos del Machete route on March 7, the UJC Secretariat will receive in the municipality of Baraguá, from the province of Ciego de Ávila, the replica of the Maceo machete; This will remain during a day in the territory to be delivered - at the next day - to the representatives of the Tunas in the cradle of the Cuban Constitution, the first secretary of the youth organization, Heinier Lian Lian Carvajo Baxter, reported at a press conference.
Among the actions to celebrate on April 4 in Agramontino soil the new generations are projected to participate in the tasks linked to the social and economic impulse of the province. In this context, 16 members of the Youth Technical Brigades will be delivered on March 18, the Forjadores del Futuro Seal, maximum recognition delivered by the organization.
Sports activities, cultural galas, the artistic talent of the youth of the Art Instructors Brigade and the Hermanos Saíz Association will be part of the celebrations for the anniversaries.
Likewise, the Organization of Pioneers José Martí will hold its Provincial Assembly on April 7 and 8 with a total of 250 delegates, 23 of them will participate in the National Meeting, among which five elected directly are included.
Among the actions to commemorate the date, which will be extended until next month, visits will be made to homes of children without filial protection, to the Eduardo Agramonte Piña Pediatric Hospital, and the delivery of recognition to prominent young people and personalities of the province.
