Pioneers of Camagüey: celebrating history and building a future full of dreams

Camagüey, Mar 20^th. - The assembly process in Camagüey commemorating the 64th anniversary of the José Martí Pioneers Organization (OPJM) stands as a symbol of hope and renewal.

This participatory exercise encourages active listening and reflection, allowing students to take center stage as they express their concerns and aspirations. This dynamic environment not only seeks to adapt to changes but also contributes to the evolution of an educational community committed to the future.

José Agustín Clemon Cardona, provincial president of the OPJM, emphasized that these meetings have established themselves as a valuable platform for identifying critical areas requiring attention, allowing for the development of an action plan based on inter-institutional collaboration. This approach underscores the importance of sharing experiences and strategies among different organizations, thus establishing a comprehensive support network that effectively responds to the needs of the new generations.

He emphasized that in order to maintain a clear and dynamic approach, it was agreed to implement semiannual reviews within the Provincial Bureau of the Young Communist League. This strategy will facilitate monitoring of proposed solutions and allow for adjustments to the course based on emerging needs.

Gleyder Peña Álvarez, a provincial official from the OPJM, added that collaboration with the Ministry of Education (MINED) is essential to effectively address the various educational issues affecting students and to foster their comprehensive development. This joint effort aims not only to confront and resolve existing challenges in the education system, but also to create an enabling environment that facilitates learning and personal growth for young people.

Through coordinated activities, the goal is to boost educational quality, improve available resources, and ensure that all students have access to opportunities that allow them to thrive in their academic and personal lives, he explained.

She noted that the groups at each school conduct proactive follow-up. Each proposal is effectively managed, ensuring that the pioneers' voices are heard and translated into concrete actions. During the renovation process, healthy recreational activities are encouraged that improve well-being and strengthen the sense of belonging to the community.

At the collective meetings in the 13 municipalities of Camagüey, the commitment to protect the achievements of the Cuban Revolution and pay tribute to the memory of those who sacrificed their lives for a more hopeful future has been reaffirmed.

This event marks the beginning of a new era for the pioneers, filled with reflection and commitments that motivate new generations to forge a future full of dreams and possibilities.
