Camagüey, March 22nd. - Salvador Valdés Mesa, member of the Political Bureau of the Party's Central Committee and Vice President of the Republic, recognized the innovators of the Camagüey Agricultural Workshop Company (Etac), who have developed two models of mowers that were presented at the Boyeros International Agricultural Fair.
The visit to the Camagüey stand took place on Friday afternoon, accompanied by Idael Pérez Brito, Minister of Agriculture. During the tour, Valdés Mesa expressed particular interest in the characteristics of both implements and the possibilities for expanding their production.
The larger mower is designed for weed control and marabou eradication, while the more compact version is used in green areas, especially in hotel gardens.
These implements are manufactured in workshops located on Rosario Street and Finlay Avenue, as well as on Cuatro Street in the Las Mercedes neighborhood. (Enrique Atienzar Rivero, contributor to Radio Cadena Agramonte) (Photo: Courtesy of the Camagüey Agricultural Workshop Company)
