Vertientes, Camagüey, Mar 29th. - The entities of the municipality of Vertientes are committed to the scientific development of the region, promoting government management based on science and knowledge. This approach not only seeks to solve local problems, but also strengthens the economy in the current context.
One of the highlights in this work is the Innovative Forum, where exhibitions are presented that show the progress of various research aimed at finding effective solutions to the challenges facing the community.
In this sense, the Municipal University Center (CUM) has consolidated itself as a reference, offering presentations that address relevant and current topics, aligned with the need to mitigate economic distortions and relaunch local development.
Angela Aurora Rabbi Baldoquín, director of the CUM, highlighted the holding of a Seminar within the framework of the National Exercise of Confrontation of Crime, Corruption and Illegalities. This seminar focused on problems related to Resolution 60, stressing the lack of knowledge that exists in its application among the Self-employed, which are a fundamental part of the country's new economic actors.
In addition, solutions related to Law 148 on Food Sovereignty, as well as other pedagogical content that seek to enrich the knowledge and practice of the participants, were presented.
This joint effort not only seeks to foster a culture of innovation and social responsibility, but also to empower the community through knowledge, laying the foundations for a more sustainable and prosperous future in Vertientes. (Text and photo: Daisy Contreras Madrazo/Radio Vertientes)
