Puerto Príncipe Rum Factory beats goals with efficacy and double shifts

Camagüey, Apr 19th. - A good performance had in the first quarter of this year the Puerto Príncipe Rum and Wine Factory, even with the limitations of some raw materials and the prevailing electroenergy situation.

The Base Business Unit (UEB) concluded in March with a commercial production of more than 166 million pesos, an amount that exceeded what was planned for the stage by 34 percent (%).

Faced with the lack of electrical fluid, the management of the industry organizes the workforce in two brigades to work day or night, and on Saturdays and Sundays, in order to be able to fulfill the commitments.

The good work of maintenance personnel also contributed to the success with the application of inventives to keep the old factory in operation, in addition to the blowing area to guarantee packaging.

For the delivery volumes the UEB of Puerto Príncipe Rum and Wine Factory is considered the locomotive of the Refreshments and Softdrinks Company of Camaguey, which in the first quarter contributed more than 70% of the total production of the entity.
