Camagüey, Apr 25th. - The Council of the Municipal Administration focused attention, during the second meeting for this month, on several issues of great economic and social interest.
The issue of voter approaches, both of the accountability processes and by dispatch of XVII and 18th term of office, was well examined, which, although progress in the solutions, did not achieve the expected results.
The members of the body also reviewed the behaviour of the Government Programme in the Territory for comprehensive attention to social policies with a cross-sectoral approach.
Another aspect analysed has to do with the socio-economic impact of the new forms of non-state management, although it is considered that it could be higher if greater control were exercised in terms of the operation and scope of this activity.
After a detailed analysis, the Council of the Municipal Administration of Camagüey approved four local development projects that respond to the production and marketing of food, wood and plastic pipes; and the guarantees for the creation of new micro, small and medium-sized enterprises.
