Camaguey, Apr 25th. - The more than 200 associates of the Credit and Services Cooperative (CCS) Dionisio Riandes Cerván, of the municipality of Jimaguayú, maintain this year the commitment to deliver, for the first time, a million liters of milk to the industry.
In order to achieve greater efficiency in the milking and quality of the milk produced, Onoiver Toledo Consuegra, president of the aforementioned CCS, explained that they opened three new centers for the cooling of this food.
He assured that for nine consecutive years they comply with the delivery of meat, and to date, they remain above the monthly plan, so they aspire to conclude 2025 with the 74 tons planned.
Towards the development of the various crops, he added, he also directs their efforts, also, the producers of the 120 farms of the aforementioned CCS, which intend to hire with Acopio more than 10 thousand quintals for the current calendar, based on the impulse that today has the plantations of cassava, banana, baonia, corn and rice, the latter with eight hectares already planted.
The CCS, he noted, maintains among its assignments the provision of machinery services to three other cooperatives, and in the face of the fuel deficit they use 36 yokes of ox for less complex work. (Text and photo: Yadira Núñez Figueredo/ACN)
