Radio Cadena Agramonte emisiora de Camagüey
Camaguey, Apr 26th.- The Central de Trabajadores de Cuba (CTC) in Camagüey distinguished a group of workers and union leaders from various sectors during a ceremony commemorating May Day.
Among the honorees were avant-garde with a relevant trajectory in the economic and social development of the territory, who received the Jesús Menéndez Medal and the Lázaro Peña Order (in its degrees I, II and III). Special workers from the sugar sector, the Cuban Telecommunications Company and Public Health were particularly noteworthy.
The event, chaired by Roberto Conde Silverio, a member of the Provincial Bureau of the Communist Party of Cuba, took place in the Nicolás Guillén Batista Protocol Hall, located in the Plaza de la Revolución General Ignacio Agramonte.
In addition, employees of the electricity and construction sector were recognized, who carried out meritorious work during the recovery after the passage of hurricanes Rafael and Oscar by the west and east of the country. They were awarded the Labor Achievement Medal.
