Havana, May 1st. - The President of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, today highlighted the will of the Cuban people and their ability to move forward, on the occasion of International Workers' Day.

We're already in the square. Expectations are dawned and confirmed: Cuba can always overcome itself. As the Army General says: What kind of people do we have, the president wrote on social network X.

On a tour of Prensa Latina in the early hours of the morning in Havana, it was observed that thousands of capitalists gather on Paseo Avenue, a traditional rallying point prior to the start of the march.

Cuban flags of all sizes, allegorical banners to date and photographs of the leaders of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro and Raúl Castro, along with images of Cuban martyrs, are part of the initiatives born of the creativity of the inhabitants of this island, who show their support for the process of social transformation begun in January 1959.

National television also broadcast several reports on the numerous mobilizations of Cubans taking over the provinces of the Caribbean country, in support of socialism and the Revolution.

As an expression of global support for Cuba, some 1,000 international delegates from more than 30 countries representing a hundred trade union organizations on the five continents are in the squares with the people, to condemn the economic, commercial and financial siege that prevents the full development of the country's productive forces.
