Caracas, May 6th. - Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro said he views the Caribbean as a space for brotherhood and cooperation.
Through his Telegram account, the president referred to ALBA-TCP in a region that - with this Alliance as a fundamental support, can be the vanguard of the 21st century in a process of full-proof cooperation.
"This effort and joint work will lead us to a common destiny," said the dignitary.
In the audiovisual that accompanies the message, Maduro stressed that the Caribbean has to be a sorority and cooperative area.
"This is how we see it perfectly, equality between States and peoples, mutual respect, cooperation, solidarity, complementarity and mutual benefit of our countries in the region," he stressed.
He stressed that these values say a lot in today's world, so that we can build the present prosperity and above all the future prosperity of our countries.
"We have to move forward and deepen energy security on all possible tracks in the Caribbean," he said.
I am always thinking of our brothers from Cuba, Nicaragua, Bolivia, and from all over the Caribbean, because we are a region in the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP), the 21st century vanguard of the process of full-proof cooperation.
The ruler said that decades pass, the years pass, but what we do is ratify our shared path.
He pointed out that it is a common effort and work - to have a common destiny and to continue affirming our area, as a region of peace, understanding, harmony and brotherhood.
The Caribbean has to be a sorority and cooperation zone, he insisted. (Text and Photo: PL)
