Moscow, May 7th. - Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold bilateral meetings linked to Victory Day celebrations, and will talk with the leaders of Cuba, Mongolia and Congo, Kremlin advisor Yuri Ushakov reported today.
According to the high office, after concluding negotiations with Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, Putin is scheduled to hold three more meetings with leaders of foreign states.
Ushakov said that the first will be with the President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, who by the way already arrived in Russia. Wednesday will be the meeting between the Cuban leader and our president, he said.
In this regard, he added that an hour later, Putin plans to have a conversation with the Mongol president, Ujnaagiin Jurelsuj. A meeting is also planned with the President of the Republic of the Congo, Denis Sassou Nguesso, on May 7, the Kremlin representative.
As for the largest of the Antilles, Ushakov recalled that on May 8 coincides with the 65th anniversary of the restoration of diplomatic relations between Moscow and Havana following the victory of the Cuban Revolution. (Text and Photo: PL)
