Havana, May 7. - Until May 18, the eighteenth edition of the Cuban Days against Homophobia and Transphobia takes place in the country, which under the motto Love is law has Havana and Holguín as its main venues.
The director of the National Center for Sexual Education, Mariela Castro, emphasized to the press that the activities aim to contribute to the effective exercise of the rights of all people through Comprehensive Sexuality Education.
She commented that Cuban revolutionary LGBTIQ+ activism cannot ignore the circumstances the world is experiencing, which is why the days are dedicated to historical anti-imperialist, anti-colonial, and anti-fascist struggles.
Among the actions are the Cuban Gala against Homophobia, on May 8 at the National Theater, and the Conga on May 10 in Vedado. (Text and photo: Radio Reloj)
