Havana, May 14. - The Cuban Workers' Union and the Unions joined the National Day against Fire that began this Monday throughout the country with a plan of activities aimed at avoiding accidents in workplaces in all sectors.
In this regard, the Secretary General of the CTC, Ulises Guilarte de Nacimiento, stated that this is the ideal time to train and enhance the culture of prevention among members of the brigades against accidents in the workplace.
He added that the program conceived by the union movement is part of the occupational health and safety management system with a view to the comprehensive care of man and the material goods of each work group.
The member of the Political Bureau called for exercises to eventually be carried out in productive and service entities in order to avoid human losses and the country's economy. (Text and photo: Trabajadores Digital)
