Saint Kitts and Nevis Minister in Cuba


Havana, May 22nd. - The Prime Minister of Saint Kitts and Nevis, Terrance Drew, arrived in Cuba to complete an official visit in the context of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral relations, the Foreign Ministry reported today.

The deputy head of the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs Josefina Vidal welcomed the distinguished visitor on Thursday night in the protocol room of José Martí International Airport, the source said.

The Sanctimonolden premier arrived in this capital for the first time as head of state of the Caribbean country, the Cubaminrex portal highlighted the previous day.

The president's agenda foresees meetings with representatives of the Cuban State and Government, and participation in an event commemorating the three decades of diplomatic ties between the two nations.

He will also place a floral offering before the effigy of the National Hero, José Martí, at the Memorial erected in his name in the Havana Plaza de la Revolución.

Terrance Drew was born on November 22, 1975 and graduated as a doctor (1998-2004) from the University of Medical Sciences of Villa Clara, with a Golden Diploma. He also studied Internal Medicine in the United States, detailed the Cubaminrex site. (Text and photo: PL)
