Juan Miguel returns with triumph in athletic rally in Castellón

Havana, May 31st.- Cuban Juan Miguel Echevarría returned to the international outdoor stages with triumph in the leap of length of the athletic rally Grand Prix Grand Prix Diputación Castellón- Memorial José Antonio Cansino, in Spain.

Tokyo 2020 Olympic runner-up achieved an excellent 8.24-meter mark with a first jump that was enough to top the fair and is scored as the seventh best record of the current season.

The now student of the former stellar Ivan Pedroso had a presentation in the indoor season with a discreet mark of 7.48 meters in Pombal, Portugal. After being almost three years off the competitive landscape, the Camagueyan returned representing the Cuban federation since the middle of last year, but without achieving records that would ensure it competed in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
