Camagüey, Jun 6th. - The Avellaneda Theatre reopened its doors for the opening ceremony of the XXXVI National Festival of the Cuban Radio - Camagüey 2025, multiplied for listeners by the goodness of the live broadcast.
On the second floor of the institution was the small team of Radio Cadena Agramonte, with the minimum but sufficient technique to achieve a greater scope than the delegation received from 200 participants.
Among the public were two casual guests: deputies Danhiz Díaz Pereira and Miguel Enrique Charbonet Martell, who represent two permanent commissions of the National Assembly of Cuba, on the eve of the accountability of the Government of this province to Parliament.
The evening program combined the performances of children who are fans of dance and music, and soloists or professional catalogue groups, such as the set Los Caguesyan. A special applause won the Duo Confluences with his version of the song El Mayor, by Silvio Rodríguez, accompanied by the screening of images of the film of the same name by Rigoberto López (1947-2019).
The text read by the announcers Karel Amores and Yanet Lavastida was a tour of the history of the Festival, since 1976, when the first selection of works was made that would be the embryo of the inaugural event achieved in 1979.
Camague first hosted in 1985, and now hosts the event for the fifth time. This tour of the Festival, told by the announcers, made brief scales on topics essential for radiologists, such as programming, and in the coordinates that were tuning according to their intentions to stimulate the best works.
They also reminded personalities who included jurors, such as Dora Alonso, Jesús Orta Ruiz, Onelio Jorge Cardoso and Manolo Ortega. Of the last edition, they mentioned the president, the Camgoguey María Isabel Colmenares, who this year has stood out for her art in the direction of dramatized.
In the field of theoretical learning and the exchange of experiences with other countries, the conferences of the Argentine educaomunicador Mario Kaplún (1923-1998) and Patricia Villegas, director of Telesur, were memorable.
The National Radio Festival devoted much of its first day to the theorist. On the agenda of the following days are planned visits to productive bases and neighborhoods, tours of areas with environmental projects in Saint Lucia, and on the 7th, a morning session dedicated to the link between Fidel Castro and radio, in an environment such as the Plaza de San Juan de Dios.
The award gala will be on Saturday, in Plaza del Carmen, from 8:30 p.m. The jury of the program contest valued almost 700 works, awarded awards in 58 categories, 10 Grand Prix, and recognitions to individualities. (Text and photos: Adelante Digital Newspaper)
