Preuniversity of Camagüey in defense of the environment

Camagüey, Jun 6th.- The Pre-University Vocational Institute of Exact Sciences Máximo Gómez Baéz, from this city, stands out for environmental education actions and projects aimed at mitigating the negative impact on the environment.

This is supported by more than 80 scientific societies that contribute to topics related to the different components of the environment, explained Cira María San Rouse, deputy director of Vocational Training, Overcoming and Research in the teaching institution.

The teacher added that several institutions and entities support the research work of the students and highlighted participation in various events where their contributions have been recognized.

Among the environmental projects led by students of the Pre-University Vocational Institute of Exact Sciences of Camagüey stands out one dedicated to noise pollution and another on the reuse of solid waste. (Text and photo: Radio Reloj)
