Cuba rejects use of force against protesters in the US.

Havana, Jun 9th. - Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, Cuban Foreign Affairs Minister, said that the protests in Los Angeles, California, reflect the citizen's rejection of the U.S. government's anti-immigrant policies.

The Chancellor said on social media X that the measures installed by Donald Trump's administration are an expression of systemic racism and institutionalized xenophobia.

He assured that the policies are unaware of the historic contribution of migrants to the American economy and society and systematically violate the human rights of thousands of people.

Protests in Los Angeles against immigration raids continued on Sunday for the third consecutive day, despite the deployment of the California National Guard on the orders of U.S. President Donald Trump to quell them.

The California governor's office reported that about 300 members of the National Guard were located in three points in Los Angeles.

Trump signed a memo to send 2,000 troops from that force to disperse the demonstrations, caused by immigration raids.

According to an office of the Latin Press news agency, the White House referred in a statement to protesters as the violent "beats" who "have attacked ICE officers and federal law enforcement officers who carry out basic deportation operations in Los Angeles."

The executive mansion justified these operatives as "essential" to stop and reverse what the Trump administration calls "the invasion of illegal criminals into the United States." (Source: ACN)
