Havana, 17 Jun.- The X Plenary of the Central Committee of the Party will analyze vital issues of the economy and society of Cuba on 4 and 5 July, assures the meeting call.
According to a notice published in the newspaper Granma, "amid the complex situation facing the country," the Party's highest leadership body will examine issues that directly impact the people between Congresses.

"The fulfillment of the Government Program to correct distortions and boost the economy, and the plan for the stabilization of the national electricity system, are among the most important topics to be discussed," the text details.
It also announces that the agenda includes "the evaluation of the cadre policy strategy, approved at the VIII Congress," and "the proposal for the commemorative program for the centennial of the birth" of the historic leader of the Revolution, Fidel Castro.
"At the meeting, the Political Bureau will report on its work and the main decisions made at this stage, an essential method in these times," it added.
