Camagüey, July 23 – The Territorial Delegation of the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Environment (Citma, for its acronym in Spanish) is holding the second edition of the Innovation for Development Expo, an event that has established itself as a benchmark for promoting knowledge in the territory.
The event took place in Pavilion No. 2 of the Fairground in the city of Camagüey, under the slogan "United for Innovation and Knowledge."
This event is part of a broader process that includes forums and exhibitions in the province's various municipalities with the aim of validating the fundamental role played by science, technology, and innovation as essential pillars for sustainable development.
During the expo, various goods and services developed by companies, research centers, and educational institutions were presented, all aimed at improving the quality of life of the population, boosting the local economy, and contributing to environmental protection.
As part of the exhibition, specialists and professionals from the sector discussed topics relevant to the growth of innovative work and explore new management systems that can be implemented in different areas of development.
The Innovation for Development Expo is positioned as a key space for the exchange of knowledge and experiences, reaffirming Citma's commitment to scientific and technological advancement for the benefit of the entire society.
