Camagüey, August 8.- Student and work centers, communities, and other sites that bear the imprint of the Commander in Chief will be the settings for the Fidel in Camagüey Historical Route, an initiative of the Union of Young Communists (UJC, for its acronym in Spanish) in the province to commemorate the centennial of the birth of the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution.
In a press conference, Heinier Lian Carvajo Baxter, first secretary of the vanguard youth organization in the province, announced that the tour will begin on August 13th, visiting institutions such as the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology and the Major General Ignacio Agramonte Loynaz Military Industrial Enterprise.
That day, more than one hundred representatives of the new generations will star an Encounter with History to evoke Fidel's legacy.
The route includes four stages, ending in December 2026. The commemorative program also includes camping, panels, talks, contests, and other proposals that will reaffirm the validity of the Commander-in-Chief's thinking.
