Camagüey Youth Club celebrates 38 years of promoting digital culture and education (+ Photos)


Camagüey, September 8. - The Camagüey Youth Computer and Electronics Clubs celebrate 38 years of tireless work promoting digital culture and supporting legal entities and new economic actors in banking and other processes.

Provincial Director Grethel González Arias presented the activities to celebrate almost four decades since the establishment of these clubs and noted that there are 44 facilities in the region, including in each popular council.

González Arias acknowledged the participation of the Camagüey delegation in the recent Info Club Event, held in Guantánamo, and the outstanding contributions of two students from the Máximo Gómez Báez Polytechnic Institute of Informatics.

She also mentioned the measures taken to ensure the success of a Technology Fair in September and the support provided to various economic actors and entities in the business sector in each project.

The director assured that services and procedures are maintained, as well as advice to individuals and legal entities, among other assistance services that are gaining increasing popularity in society. She highlighted the connection with educational centers and vocational training in robotics and cybersecurity, with an emphasis on schools near the facilities.

The more than 200 employees of the Camagüey Youth Computer and Electronics Clubs maintain their mission of bringing technology to children, adolescents, young people, and families, promoting digital transformation, technological inclusion, and community empowerment. These efforts continue in commemoration of the Centennial of the birth of Fidel Castro, creator of a program of constant learning and innovation.
