Havana, September 9. - Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel arrived in Havana today after concluding an international tour of Vietnam, China, and Laos, countries he thanked for their affection, solidarity, and hospitality.
The president was received by Vice President Salvador Valdés, Prime Minister Manuel Marrero, and Roberto Morales, Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba.
Díaz-Canel expressed on the social media platform X his willingness to continue working to achieve everything agreed upon during the tour “for the well-being of our nations.” “Always count on Cuba,” he emphasized.
The head of state's visit took place from August 31 to September 7, within the framework of the 65th anniversary of the establishment of historic relations with Vietnam and China, countries with which Cuba maintains close ties of solidarity and cooperation.
For its part, in the case of Laos, the priority given by Cuba to fraternal and friendly relations with that country was reaffirmed. (Text and photo: PL)
