The purpose of the activity is to increase the operational readiness of law enforcement, optimize investigative processes, and strengthen mechanisms for public oversight and social assistance, according to a report in the newspaper Granma.
Among the actions scheduled for this week are surveillance and patrol exercises, police closures, preventive meetings with potential criminals, streamlining of criminal proceedings, and oversight visits to verify compliance with the law in various areas.
There will also be exemplary trials, inspections of administrative management teams, and state inspection bodies, with the objective of reinforcing discipline and transparency in public management.
