Havana, September 30 – Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero spoke with officials in training at the Higher School of State and Government Cadres about the implementation of the Program to correct distortions and boost the economy again, it was announced today.
During the meeting, the head of government emphasized that the referendum on the Program has two central objectives: to widely disseminate it among the population and facilitate its implementation.
Marrero emphasized on the social network X that the participation of the people and workers will be essential to perfect and consolidate this instrument as a work tool adapted to the specificities of each territory and sector.
The Government Program includes the essential lines of the country’s economic and social policy, with clear goals aimed at stabilizing the macroeconomy, diversifying income, resizing the foreign exchange market, promoting foreign investment, encouraging decentralization, and territorial development.
