Moscow, September 30. - The kyiv regime is preparing a new provocation in its attempt to draw NATO countries into a conflict with Moscow, the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) declared this Tuesday.
After provocations involving the use of drones in the airspaces of Poland and Romania, Ukraine "does not cease its attempts to involve European NATO countries in an armed confrontation with Moscow," the Russian authorities indicated. "This time, the intrigue is supposed to revolve around a sabotage and reconnaissance group landed on Polish territory, allegedly composed of special forces personnel from Russia and Belarus," they added.
Russian intelligence detailed that the candidates to participate in this provocation have already been chosen and are members of the Russian Liberation Legion and the Kastus Kalinouski Regiment of Belarus, who are fighting on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to this stratagem, after the alleged identification and neutralization of the sabotage group by Polish security forces, the provocateurs would explain the incident as an attempt by Russia and Belarus to destabilize the situation in the European country. "In the context of a series of incidents involving Russian drone flights over the territory of European states, such an event should leave no doubt to Poles and other European citizens that Moscow and Minsk are behind all hostile actions," the SVR explains the plans of the Ukrainian side.
It also pointed out as obvious the objective of the provocation, designed by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense along with Polish special services: to show the international community that Moscow is accelerating the escalation of violence. "Faced with inevitable defeat, Vladimir Zelensky's regime is ready to run unchecked, relying on Europeans, even at the cost of fomenting a 'great war,'" the Russian agency concludes.
