Camagüey will host a national event for Rural Women's Day

Camagüey, 8 oct. - This province conquered the national headquarters of the celebrations for the Rural Women’s Day, which is commemorated every year on October 15.

Regla Grisel Frómeta, president of the National Association of Small Farmers (ANAP, for its acronym in Spanish) in the province, stated that this was possible thanks to the results achieved on several fronts.

She mentioned the growth of women members of the organization, the work of the joint brigades of the Federation of Cuban Women and ANAP, and the placement in leadership positions, among other achievements.

She specified that the meeting will take place in the provincial capital, specifically in the community of the Jesús Suárez Gayol Agricultural Production Cooperative.
