Camagüey, Oct 21. - The Camagüey Radiocommunication Company reported that three new transmitters, donated by China, are now operational in the municipalities of Sibanicú, Najasa, and Sierra de Cubitas.
The installation will enable the deployment of the digital signal in these localities, which until now were the only ones in the province that required manual or automatic tuning to access television.
This investment, the result of a cooperation project with China for the Standard Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) system, was made possible thanks to the uninterrupted work of specialists and technicians from the Camagüey Territorial Division over recent weeks.
To enjoy the new signal, users in these municipalities must make the following adjustments:
Sierra de Cubitas: Viewers must point their antenna towards the Cubitas community, where the transmitter is located, and perform a manual search for channel 31 to access the High Definition (HD) signal.
Sibanicú: The antenna should be pointed towards the local radio station and a manual search for channel 17 should be performed for the standard digital signal.
Najasa: Tuning should be done on channel 39.
The new equipment guarantees a signal with greater range and quality. However, the Radiocommunication Company has made the telephone number 32 298227 available to the public to clarify any doubts or technical difficulties that may arise during the process.
