
Camagüey, Nov. 1.- The Ignacio Agramonte Loynaz University of Camagüey (UC) is expanding its international outreach by signing a framework collaboration agreement with the University of Los Ángeles (UDEAP, for its acronym in Spanish), a private institution located in Mexico's Puebla region.
The information was confirmed to Adelante by Dr. Aleida Llanes, PhD in Sciences and vice-dean of research at the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the Cuban university.
The agreement aligns with the principles of collaboration between Cuba and Mexico, aiming primarily to strengthen scientific, cultural, and educational ties between both institutions.
Among the specific purposes of the agreement are reciprocal support to improve teaching quality, train highly qualified specialists, and develop scientific-technical work.
From the Mexican side, the University of Los Ángeles offers a wide variety of majors in areas such as:
? Health Sciences: Psychology, Nursing, and Nutrition.
? Engineering and Technology: Computer Systems, Industrial, and Architecture.
? Social Sciences and Humanities: Law and Languages.
? Business and Administration: Accounting, Management, and Marketing.
