Havana, Nov. 27 – Roberto Morales Ojeda, Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC, for its acronym in Spanish), today highlighted the exchanges held with authorities of the Russian Federation, as part of his current working visit to that Eurasian nation.

On his account on the social network X, Morales Ojeda described the meeting with Dmitry Medvedev, president of the United Russia party and vice president of the Security Council of the nation, as very friendly, familiar and conveyed greetings from Army General Raúl Castro and President Miguel Díaz-Canel.

Morales Ojeda's working visit, which began this Tuesday, is in response to an invitation from United Russia, founded in December 2001 after the merger of several political forces; it consolidated itself from the beginning of the 2000s as the main party supporting President Vladimir Putin.

This organization maintains a nationalist ideological profile, emphasizing internal stability, national sovereignty, and strengthening the role of the state in political and economic life.

Its structure includes the United Russia Young Guard, a youth group intended to mobilize support among new generations.

In the electoral arena, the party has achieved consecutive parliamentary majorities since 2003 and controls more than two-thirds of the seats in the State Duma, ensuring the continuity of policies promoted by the Kremlin. (Source: ACN)
